Natural Psychedelics
Entheogen use has been documented in cultures around the world going back thousands of years, while many cultures lost these practices, Indigenous communities here in the Americas maintained their connection despite criminalization and the systemic eradication of their cultural traditions and practices.

Mushrooms (also called shrooms or mushrooms) are a type of mushroom that contain the chemicals psilocybin, psilocin and a few others. Mushrooms come in fresh, dried, or powder form and are taken as a tea, cooked with food, or added to fruit juice.

People smoke cannabis, in hand-rolled cigarettes (joints), cigars (blunts), in pipes or water pipes (bongs). To avoid inhaling smoke, some people are using vaporizers. It can also be mixed in food (edibles), such as brownies, cookies, or candy, or brew it as a tea

Ayahuasca
A traditional Amazonian decoction with psychoactive properties, is made from bark of the Banisteriopsis caapi vine (containing beta-carboline alkaloids) and leaves of the Psychotria viridis bush.
Contains N,N-dimethyltryptamine (DMT), harmaline, harmine, tetrahydroharmine (THH) and harmalol

Huachuma
Traditionally, Huachuma has been consumed either on its own or with other plants including other cacti and succulents, lycopods (clubmosses), datura, brugmansia, and Isotoma/Hippobroma longiflora (aka the “Star of Bethlehem”), in a ceremonial brew called cimora.
Contains mescaline, hordenine, lophophine, DMPEA (3,4-dimethoxyphenethylamine), and lobivine

Kambo
Contains adenoregulin, bombesin, bombesinnona peptide, a bradykinin derivate, caerulein, deltorphin, neurokinin B, phyllomedusin, phyllocaerulein, phyllokinin, phyllolitorin, preprotachykinin B, ranatachykinin A, sauvagine, T-kinin and urechistachykinin II

Iboga
Contains ibogaine, ibogaline, ibogamine, and tabernanthine
